Minimum order quantities vary by product type and packaging format, typically starting at 500 pcs for Private Label orders and 1,000 pcs for custom formulations. BODA also welcomes enquiries from startups and small to mid-sized brands for small-batch production. Reorder quantities after the first order offer greater flexibility.

Product development starts with a written brief. BODA’s R&D team reviews the product type, intended use, performance requirements, texture, packaging and target market before formula work begins.

Custom formulations may cover texture, viscosity, fragrance, color, cleansing performance, conditioning performance or treatment requirements.
Initial samples are reviewed against the product brief. Customer feedback should identify specific changes to appearance, texture, fragrance, application or performance.
The selected custom formula must also be suitable for the proposed packaging, filling method and production process. These factors are reviewed before the formula is approved for manufacturing.

Packaging design must be compatible with the formula and filling process. After the product and packaging are approved, labeling and logistics are arranged according to the order, destination and agreed shipping terms.

OEM and private label orders are produced at BODA’s 20,000+ m² manufacturing site. The facility has more than 18 production and packaging lines for powder, liquid and cream products.
Separate areas are used for manufacturing, filling, packing, inspection, storage and order preparation. Production takes place in Class 300,000 dust-free workshops in accordance with ISO 22716 cosmetic GMP requirements. The facility is ISO 22716 certified.
Bleach powder production capacity is up to 20 metric tons per day. Actual output depends on the formula, packaging format and production schedule.

BODA works with hair care brands, professional salon businesses, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and online sellers.
As a planning guide, a private label project using an available formula and standard packaging usually takes about 6–12 weeks. A custom formulation or new packaging project may take 12–24 weeks.
These estimates cover formula work, sample approval, packaging preparation and production. Additional sample revisions, product testing or custom-made packaging may add time.
Samples are quoted before laboratory work or dispatch.
For an available formula, the charge may cover sample preparation and courier delivery. Custom formulation, packaging samples or additional laboratory work may be charged separately. The quotation will show these items before the customer approves the sample request.
A standard development cycle normally includes one or two revision rounds after the initial sample.
Revisions may cover fragrance, color, texture, viscosity or application. A change to the product type, ingredient direction or original performance target is treated as a change in scope rather than a routine revision.

Yes. BODA can sign an NDA before reviewing proprietary formulas, technical specifications or unreleased product concepts.
The NDA identifies the confidential information, its permitted use and the confidentiality period. It covers confidentiality only — formula ownership and manufacturing rights are set out in the project agreement itself.
Yes. Customers may submit an existing formula, technical specification or benchmark sample for review.
For an existing formula, BODA checks the raw materials, production method, packaging requirements and scale-up feasibility. A benchmark product may be used to define characteristics such as texture, fragrance, appearance and application.
A benchmark is used as a performance reference, not as authorization to copy another company's proprietary formula.
The document package is set according to the product and destination market. Available records may include:
Third-party laboratory testing is quoted as an additional item unless it is included in the agreed project scope.
Yes, subject to technical review. Customer-supplied bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, caps, labels and cartons must be compatible with the formula and BODA's filling and packing equipment.
BODA may request component samples to check dimensions, closure fit, filling performance, label application and formula compatibility. The customer is responsible for supplying the approved components in the required quantity and condition.
Packaging that does not pass the required checks cannot be released for production.
Yes. BODA can provide available manufacturing and product information for label preparation, including product specifications and ingredient information.
Order documentation may include relevant production, packing and shipping records. The brand owner or importer remains responsible for confirming product claims, warnings, label format, registration and other legal requirements in the destination market.
BODA's review covers information related to the manufactured product; final regulatory approval remains with the responsible market operator unless BODA has agreed to provide a regulatory service for that market.
